Style using newer philosophies of movement which depart from classical dance styles without losing the structure, form or technique.

Style using fluid body movements and control that combines elements of ballet, modern and jazz while incorporating technique.

This is a routine that does not fall into the other categories such as Tap, Ballet or a routine that is a combination of different dance styles.

Style using “street” style movements that evolved from the hip-hop culture. This includes a wide range of styles including breaking, locking and popping.

Style consisting of strong, sharp, linear movements focused on precision and placement.

Object(s) used the majority of the time to create an effect in a dance routine.

Modern
Style consisting of modern dance techniques such as suspension, release, and contraction.

Poms used to create a visually effective, high energy routine, where the focus is on precision and placement.

The above pricing does not reflect any discounts. Come enjoy the CP Dance experience once, and get a 5% discount on every additional 2023 spring contest registration. The Early Bird Discount of 10% will be applied to all of your spring registrations and must be paid by December 1, 2022 or the discount will be removed. You may continue to add/make adjustments via your CP contest registration account until 4 weeks prior to the event. Please note that preseason events are not eligible for either discount.
The per dancer participant fee covers; facility use, dressing rooms, free live stream access, spectator admission, and essential onsite personnel. Plus, bonus event production at the State and National level. In order to accommodate more teams, the following participant fee scholarships may be offered.
–TRAVELING: If your team is traveling over 100 miles to a regional competition, your team will qualify for $10 off the participant fee. Please notate this in the billing section before completing your registration for your official invoice to be updated.
–NEEDS BASIS: Please contact our team HERE to inquire about our needs-based discount. Eligibility will be based on your school’s title status etc.
Full Refunds will not be issued after the Final Add / Drop Deadline for each contest location. Cancellations may be granted on a case-by-case basis. Any credit for the fees will be applied to a contest during the current season only. All balances must be paid in full or PO issued at least 3 weeks before contest.
