Schedule Timeline

  • January 5th – Registration Closes
    Complete your entry verification received via email.

  • January 12th – Final Add/Drop Deadline
    All payment must be received to be included in the schedule.
    Refunds will not be granted past this date.

  • January 19th – Preliminary Schedule Sent
    All changes must be processed through the schedule change form.
    All music must be uploaded by this date.
    If applicable, submit your Overall HS GPA via the below form.

  • January 26th – Final Schedule Sent
    All changes must be processed through the schedule change form.
    The final version will be posted below on Thursday the week of contest.

In an effort to maintain the proper distance due to COVID-19, the following adjustments have been made to allow space for safe spectator seating and limit any congestion in the hallways.

CURTAINS:
The full back curtain will not be provided (or allowed). However, 3 wings on each side will be provided.

PROPS:
All props must be handled/managed only by the performing dancers when entering and exiting the floor.** Studio faculty will be permitted to assist with props for dancers age 6 and under.**

For all team routines; the entrance, performance, and exit timing must still be under 5 minutes.
Please note on your registration if you would like to purchase extended set-up time. 

Registered Directors and Assistants bringing team or officer routines will be permitted to enter free of charge at the team check-in area.

Dance team members must arrive with the team to be permitted to enter free of charge at the team check-in area.

Escorts and managers must arrive with the team and must wear an official uniform to be permitted to enter free of charge at the team check-in area.

Health Screening

All performers, instructors and spectators will be required to complete a health screening prior to entry into the event.
** Spectators – Please fill out this form the morning of the event and have your confirmation of completion ready for review at the Spectator Entrance.**

A limited number of printed schedules will be available onsite. We recommend downloading our CP app to follow along.

Admission

  • Wristbands will not be available onsite for purchase.
    Please contact your dancer’s director for more information.

Concessions

  • Will be available onsite.
    No outside food or drinks may be brought into the contest.
    All concession proceeds serve as a fundraiser for the Host School.

Health & Safety

Facilities will be cleaned and sanitized periodically throughout the event.

There will be a mid-day break for sanitation and to empty the performance spaces.

Spectator Seating will be adjusted for proper social distancing.

Separate event traffic flow for spectators and participants will be carefully designed to eliminate any possible congestion in the hallways.

Admission and performance area access will be based on pre-sold wristbands according to the performance block.

Performance blocks will be implemented to abide by the facility capacity regulations.

Expect to have limited time between performances. (about 10-30 minutes)

Officer routines may be Scheduled in a separate performance block, please consider this when arranging your team transportation. (You will be notified 4 weeks in advance.)

Officer, Solo, Duet and Trio performances may be held in the auditorium. (You will be notified 4 weeks in advance.)

Only two wristbands will be allotted per performer. (No onsite wristbands will be available for purchase.)

The number of wristbands distributed will be limited and monitored to abide by the state and/or local capacity requirement.

Only those with a wristband assigned to the scheduled performance block will be permitted onsite.

All areas may be live-streamed to accommodate virtual spectators.

All spectators WILL BE REQUIRED to wear a facemask and abide by the proper social distancing procedures.

Participants will only be allowed in the building during their scheduled performance block.

Dressing room capacity will be adjusted to help comply with social distancing protocols.

All participants WILL BE REQUIRED to wear a facemask and abide by the proper social distancing procedures – except while performing.

At this time, we are planning for a IN-PERSON contactless awards process.
